Our 40th reunion is in the history books. A grand time was had by all that attended. The crowd was not as large as at past reunions but still a good turnout. The fellowship with old friends was what made it all worthwhile. We learned new things about old friends such as the fact that Robert don Sayers is a pretty darn good singer and that I am not. I figured that out after only 1 song, some others didn't. The food was good and the space we had was ample. Now for the bad part. With hidden charges and the bringing of more food than was necessary, the reunion went into the hole on the budget. Some who are aware of this situation have made donations and Diane Evans Coker and her husband Larry took it on themselves to make up the rest. If you attended the reunion and would like to make a donation to the reunion fund you can make it payable to:

Anything you do will be greatly appreciated and any surplus over and above what has been spent to make up the deficit, will be placed into an account to begin our 45 reunion. I hope everyone who attended will help in this situation to assure that we will be able to continue to be the only class of Woodlawn that has had our reunions at regular intervals since we graduated.
